for a few years now, i’ve been happily addicted to those damn networking sites. you know the ones we all love to hate: myspace, friendster, and tribe. it’s funny how i listed myspace first. i tend to spend more time there, now that more and more of my friends (actual friends, not random people who requested to be on my friends list) have joined. but i remember when friendster started it all. i remember those days when it was shiny and new and for myself, it seemed like a whole new world opened up and i was able to reconnect with people i never thought i would.

although i have profiles on many others out there, of which i can remember only a few, i find that the “big three” seem to be these ones i’ve listed above. friendster seems to be kind of dwindling, but it has been making changes and i think it’s on the rise again. myspace just keeps growing in popularity, and as for staying in touch with friends near and far, it just seems to work. tribe is great if you’re involved with special interest tribes where its members actually carry on discussions and if you want to find out what hot underground event is happening. i can say that i’ve actually met new people from each site just the same. these sites can be a lot of fun if you don’t take it too seriously.

you can check my profiles out on each site:
