1,272 photos from my moments series, remixed to “Music is The Victim” by the Scissor Sisters. my moments series are a series of photos, all photos taken in the past four years, put together at 0.03 seconds a piece and put to music. for this video, i put them at 0.04 seconds, which added a slightly noticeable delay and fits well with the music.
i’ve also focused more on the “animated” series of photos. this is my first step in experimenting with animating by taking a series of photos. i think the next thing i want to do is incorporate this into a video or the next short film i do.
enjoy!
don’t blink! you might miss something!
this is part two to my “moments” video i did last year. this one has over 4,900 photos during a period of more than one year.
Film submitted as part of the 2007 San Francisco 48 Hour Film Project.
Genre: Drama
Prop: Jar of Coins
Character: Chef Mayo or Maggie Logan
Line: “Call me as soon as you hear anything.”
it’s been a crazy emotionally charged weekend, but i think i’ve come out of it with a really great film!
i am proud of everyone on the team, and we really pulled together created something new! the film evolved from a shitty script i threw together friday night and became it’s own creation.
it truly was a collaborative effort and wouldn’t exist without everyone giving their own input, improv, and re-writing their own scenes.
once the ball started rolling and we started filming, fun was had by all. at least i know i did! i hope i did just a great a job with the editing as everyone did with their own parts!
i can only hope my editing can do them justice.
i have amazing people in my life.
i’m going to try to get the film online soon and i’ll post it here!
