Some of you may already know that I’ve signed up as a new author for SF Metblog (http://sf.metblogs.com). I am totally excited about this as it will give me new motivation to write and blog. Since I basically love all things SF (I even love to hate Muni!), I’m sure I’ll have no problem writing about this city!

I’ve decided to write two weekly “columns” of sorts!

First, I will write a bar/happy hour review tentatively called “Happy Hour” where I pick a bar each week and post my thoughts on it! (I can’t wait to start researching! Anyone wanna come with?)

The second column I want to do is a weekly roundup of events. Basically, I want to pick an event for each day of the upcoming week and write a little blurb and link to their respective sites, etc. I think this will be a great opportunity for all of you talented friends of mine to get a plug for your event!

This is where you come in:

I would love for your help in finding these events and bars to write about! So, please feel free to shoot me emails, copy me on invites, or send me flyers of interesting happenings in SF! I can occasionally venture into the East Bay, but we would like to keep this within SF city limits as much as possible! We are SF Metblog for a reason!

Got that big event planned for June? Having an artshow? Performing at the park? Been to an amazing happy hour at this really cool bar no one really knows about but should?

Let me know! I’d love to write about it! I’d love to post it for the world to see!

I hope that I’ll get the chance to advertise your great and many talents and a chance to introduce people to new and exciting things! We do so many great things that get so little exposure these days. I want to help remedy that!
